Ben Harper is an entrepreneur and AI specialist with a career spanning intelligence analysis, local media, technology startups, and international business.
A History graduate with Honours from Queen Mary, University of London, Ben's career has taken him in a very different direction from his degree. But that experience has shaped his belief in the importance of practical skills, adaptability, and access to real-world opportunities.
Having begun his career before AI started transforming the entry-level job market, Ben recognises how fortunate he was to gain the experience, connections, and opportunities that helped him build his career. He believes today's young people deserve those same opportunities, even as the world of work changes around them.
His career has included intelligence analysis, working with local media groups, building and scaling startups, raising investment, and working in the United States in artificial intelligence. Today, he runs a business at the forefront of AI and marketing, helping organisations understand and adapt to how AI is changing the way people discover businesses, products, and information.
Across his career, Ben has worked with organisations including Coca-Cola, Disney, and the UK Government, alongside more than 5,000 businesses worldwide. This experience has given him an extensive international network of employers, entrepreneurs, and business leaders, which he hopes to use to help Working Fellowship students access meaningful career opportunities wherever possible.
Ben founded Working Fellowship with a simple conviction: AI should create opportunities for people, not leave them behind.
He is passionate about making practical AI education accessible, helping students become employable, employees remain valuable, and businesses develop the skills they need to thrive.
His mission is to help keep humans working in the age of AI.
The agents and automations you will learn to build are the same kinds of setup that run inside Ben's businesses every day. When something changes in practice, the teaching changes with it.
