For parents and guardians
Certified AI Implementation Practitioner: a guide for parents and guardians
What it is.
A selective six-month online programme that teaches young people to build AI agents and automations for real business work: sales, marketing, operations and customer service.
Who runs it.
Ben Harper, a founder who runs several businesses on these same systems, including LLM Listed, an AI-visibility agency. Your son or daughter learns from people who do this work, not from a training company. Before this was a programme, it was how Ben trained his own team: Ben trained Kamal Leadbitter on the job from the age of 18, and Kamal is now Marketing Manager at PromptRadar, one of Ben's companies.
How it works.
Recorded lessons, a weekly live build session, and a small pod of five or six with a mentor who reviews their work. They complete four to five portfolio projects and a supervised capstone on a real business problem. Expect around 8 to 10 hours a week.
What they leave with.
Practical, provable skills and a public portfolio of work. Those who pass are awarded the Professional Certificate in Applied AI Implementation, issued by LLM Listed Ltd, graded Pass, Merit or Distinction after a capstone presented to a panel. Each certificate has a unique ID that employers can verify online, with a skills transcript of what they have demonstrated, and graduates earn a reference and introductions. Not everyone passes. It is a professional certificate, not a degree or an accredited qualification, and we do not guarantee jobs.
Graduation.
Each cohort ends with Demo Day, where graduates present their work and receive their certificates.
Why not university or a free course?
Both have real strengths, including recognised qualifications. The difference is pace. A university curriculum typically takes 18 to 24 months to design and approve, and government-funded courses are built on fixed standards that take time to approve. AI changes faster than that. Certified AI Implementation Practitioner is run by a working business, so what is taught reflects what businesses are doing now.
Who gets a place.
Anyone can apply. No qualifications are needed. Places are offered on the strength of a short application: written answers, a 60-second video and a small practical task.
Cost.
£5,000 inc. VAT, invoiced only after a place is offered. Scholarships are available, plus one fully funded place in every cohort, all on application. Funding routes are in place. Once your son or daughter has applied, we can discuss flexible payment options if you need them.
When.
Four cohorts a year, starting in January, April, June and September. The January 2027 cohort has 15 places; applications close 10 December 2026.
