How it works
Structured, demanding and closely supported.
- Recorded lessons cover the core skills, so you can learn at your own pace each week.
- Weekly live build sessions with the team, where you work on real problems together and ask questions as you go. Sessions are recorded so you can catch up.
- Small pods of five or six, each with a mentor who reviews your work and gives you direct, specific feedback.
- A portfolio of four to five projects, built for realistic simulated businesses and for our own in-house products.
- One supervised capstone on a real business problem, from scoping to working solution.
- A final assessment, with your capstone presented to a panel and graded Pass, Merit or Distinction. Those who pass are awarded the Professional Certificate in Applied AI Implementation.
- An earned reference and introductions for those who meet the standard. These are not automatic and are not guaranteed. They reflect the work you do.
There are four cohorts a year, starting in January, April, June and September. Each cohort is capped at around 30 people. The January 2027 cohort has 15 places.
- January
- April
- June
- September
Expect to commit around 8 to 10 hours a week. All you need is a laptop or computer that can handle video calls and the work.
What you'll learn
Practical AI, applied to the work businesses actually do.
You will learn to design, build and maintain AI agents and automations across the four areas where most businesses need help:
Sales
Researching prospects, preparing personalised outreach, qualifying leads and keeping a pipeline up to date.
Marketing
Producing and repurposing content, monitoring how a brand appears in AI search and answers, and reporting on what is working.
Delivery and operations
Onboarding clients, moving information between tools, preparing reports and removing repetitive admin.
Customer service
Answering common questions from a knowledge base, routing enquiries, and handing over to a person at the right moment.
Alongside the building, you will learn the judgement that makes the work useful: how to scope a problem, how to test whether something works, how to handle data responsibly, and how to explain your work to someone who is paying for it.
Who it's for
For people who would rather build than wait.
- School and college leavers who want a practical alternative to university, or a serious use of a year before deciding.
- Recent graduates who want skills that make them useful in a business from their first week.
- Career changers and people moving roles who want to work with AI properly rather than read about it.
You do not need qualifications, a technical background or any coding experience. We care whether you will build, not what grades you got. What we look for is curiosity, effort and the willingness to finish things.
Who it's not for
This is not for everyone, and that is deliberate.
Certified AI Implementation Practitioner is probably not right for you if:
- You want a piece of paper more than the skills behind it. Our certificate has to be earned, and not everyone passes.
- You are looking for a guaranteed job at the end. We do not offer one, and we would be wary of anyone who did.
- You cannot set aside around 8 to 10 hours a week for six months.
- You prefer to watch rather than do. Most of the learning happens when you build, get feedback and build again.
- You need an accredited or regulated qualification. Our professional certificate is neither.
The selection process
Places are earned through the application.
Every place is offered on the strength of the application. There are three parts:
- 1
Short written questions.
Who you are, what you want, and why you should get a place.
- 2
A 60-second video.
Just you, talking to us. No editing or production needed.
- 3
A small take-home task.
Use AI to solve one real problem, and show us how you did it. We are interested in your thinking, not polish.
We read every application and reply to everyone. You can tell us in the application which start month suits you best. If you are offered a place, we will send an invoice to confirm it.
If you would rather build than wait, apply.
The January 2027 cohort has 15 places and applications close on 10 December 2026. The application takes a little effort. That is the point.
No payment to apply. No qualifications required. Scholarships available.
